ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Christina Miller

Editor and author Christina Miller’s idea of a perfect day involves a white-sand beach, a stack of books, and a glass of sweet tea. Ten years ago, she decided to leave her job as an RN and become a writer and editor so she could read for a living—and sometimes even work on the beach.

Christina is a Bethany Global University graduate, pastor’s wife, worship leader, and author for Love Inspired, the Christian imprint of Harlequin. When she doesn’t have her nose in a book or her toes in the sand, you might catch her visiting an antebellum mansion, exploring a museum, or teaching at a women’s conference. Christina lives on her family farm with her husband of thirty-three years.

My review!

While this is really the second book in the Nachez series, it can be read as a standalone. I didn’t read the first one, but had no trouble following this one at all.

Main interests Jase and Erin are both searching for love, even if they won’t admit it. Lots of hurts from the past create hurdles to get over. But with God all things are possible!

The characters in this story are well written and enjoyable. I’d love to meet them, especially Fannie. She has a lot of wisdom and spunk. And of course who could resist baby Bella, who was unexpectedly thrust into Jase’s life.

While author Christina Miller’s story includes references to drugs, as well as how Bella became an orphan, it was handled gently. This is truly a heartwarming story with many opportunities to chuckle. And there’s an incredible moment of suspense that I didn’t see coming at all. It kept me on the edge of my seat.

A good book, I highly recommend it. And if you haven’t read book one, Finding His Family, I suggest doing so. I know I’m going to!

I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.

My Review of His Road to Redemption!

Here’s what’s important. I loved it! I mean, what’s not to love? A handsome American hero who deals with inner and outer scars because of his military service, a fun and feisty main female character, and goats. Goats that made me laugh with their antics.

A prodigal son and a family divided due to loss. I love how author Lisa Jordan writes about life in an honest way that’s full of grace and mercy. Not heavy at all, but still truthful. I found myself routing for Micah and Paige to succeed, and gasping at the sudden surprises life dealt them.

The story shows us how much we need each other, and God, to make it through life’s challenges and to bring His will into our lives. I highly recommend it!
